The Battling Ropes Challenge DVD is a dynamic training DVD that shows you a wide variety of exercises in Battling Rope Level 1 training. John Brookfield, creator of the Battling Ropes, takes you through the basic exercises, the intermediate exercises, and then the advanced exercises. John takes you into exercises in the kneeling and seated positions, as well as exercises that will double the intensity of your training. The Battling Ropes Challenge will train you to sustain higher intensity for longer durations of time. This sustained intensity is the result of the system demanding that you use constant velocity instead of momentum. Approx running time 55 mins. |

Hurricane Ingrid - The Workout DVD
John Brookfield introduces you to Battling Ropes® coach Ingrid Marcum
Ingrid is an elite world class athlete. She began as a competitive gymnast and later became the strength and conditioning coach at The College of William & Mary. She now competes at the elite level in Olympic weightlifting and is the current U.S. National Champion in her weight class. Ingrid is a member of the U.S. bobsled team and is currently training for the 2010 Winter Olympics. In this DVD, Ingrid begins by demonstrating over a dozen of the velocity/wave system exercises. She then shows you how to combine these exercises into an effective workout that can be implemented by any athlete, trainer, coach or fitness buff of any age or fitness level. She also demonstrates a variety of exercises on the Pole System, which is the strength endurance phase of the Battling Ropes® Training System.
